I’ve been pretty much MIA for the last two weeks… But I have a good reason: I moved back home! My nail polishes, however, are still in the UK with some of my stuff like bedding and cooking utensils, so I haven’t been able to paint my nails lately.

Worry not, in 1-2 weeks I’ll head back to completely move out the rest of my stuff, and then I’ll start posting again! I probably not at my “regular” rate (like I ever post at a regular rate, haha!), since I’ll be looking for jobs and writing my dissertation. Still, yay future nail art!

Who’s ready for the big game tonight? That’s right, I am.

Simple blue gradient.

Sooo, Germany is playing Brazil in the world cup today, and I figured my nails should match. Fingers crossed for Germany!

EDIT: Wow, what a match! I feel terrible for the poor Brazilian players, but Germany played a really good game! End result: Germany 7:1 Brazil

Sooo, today was the “Grand Départ” of the Tour de France in Leeds, Yorkshire! The weather was wonderful and sunny, there was a huge crowd of people, and I painted my nails for the occasion. =)

i dont read as much as I used to i used To finish several books a week now it’s barely one a month. which makes me sad

Bike nails over a blue gradient! I prefer cycling to walking, it’s faster and doubles as my work-out. =)
Particularly happy with my pointy, not quite sure what happened with pinky, haha

Then (2012) and now (2014). Simple design, but I’d say I’ve made some progress!

Baroque nails!

For my ring and middle fingers I used a tutorial by Nailuminium, for my pointy finger I used the tutorial by Mr. Candiipants. Go check them out! My pinky is just a mix of different elements from the tutorials that I mashed together.

I’m really proud of this manicure, the pointy finger messed up a bit but other than that I think it looks pretty epic.

Polishes used:
OPI “Lincoln Park at Midnight”
Miss Sporty unnamed gold nail polish
